The Leacock Foundation supports valuable, literacy-based after-school programs at the Triangle of Hope partner schools in Toronto
Students from St. James Town based Rose Avenue Public School receive one-on-one support from high school volunteers from Branksome Hall in reading and mathematics.
Grade two and three students participate in a weekly reading club with reading buddies, and grade four and five students work through the JUMP math program. This weekly opportunity creates a sense of community as children enrich their academic skills while building meaningful relationships with student mentors.
Leacock provides a healthy snack for all participants.
