Each year during Take the LEAD: A Community Action Club, Toronto youth from our partner communities work together to address an issue in their communities that they are passionate about. Take the LEAD’s mandate is to inspire youth to see community challenges as opportunities to make a difference. Students attend weekly sessions throughout the school year, planning and executing their youth-led community action plan. The curriculum-based learning enhances problem solving skills, team building, public speaking, and presentation skills.
