JUMP Math

Once per week after school, the Leacock Foundation runs a JUMP Math program for Grade 4 and 5 students at one our Toronto partner schools, Rose Avenue Junior Public School. Program participants work through the JUMP math program for 2 hours per session. High school students from Branksome Hall volunteer as tutors and mentors for the programming, and work with their younger peers to improve their math literacy and confidence.

This weekly opportunity creates a sense of community as children enrich their academic skills while building meaningful relationships with student mentors.

JUMP Math Areas of Focus:

Math literacy, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) curriculum, academic confidence, peer mentorship, leadership, technology, and volunteerism.
